Sticker...clearly art direction, and wonderful possibility to distribute not only digitally online, multicolored images in the world.

(First sticker contact, first design, current state, own favorite design, a sticker story ?)
Like probably many others, I have always collected stickers as a child, but here the passion was more in collecting and owning. Today it is more in the stick it everywhere and give away / distribute them...
I leave my stickers especially happy at all the skate parks that I have ridden.
As a teenager I also started with the sticker self paint / cut out ... These ones were then spreaded when it was about going to party in the city ... This is certainly a story that fits to many many others ... ( ;
My first sticker contact was in childhood, with these sticker collection books... Particularly very wanted were the Glow in the Dark or Flock Sticker...

There are many that I find great, but one of my favorite artists here is Flying Förtress...He was certainly one of the first I have seen as a teenager in Munich.
But also the many super cool collabo stickers from the tireless @greatymcgrate are excellent! He reinvents his style with every collabo but stays true to his cheese grater !
Of course there are many many others that could be mentioned here, but that would probably take a while...

4. Why this artist name?
In my studies I "raised" a fictitious clothing label as a diploma thesis at the FH Munich, which should be called UGLY PEOPLE CLOTHING.
A quote that I have used there on shirts again and again, was "I ARE UGLY"...so not only stupid but also ugly and fine with it... ( ;
I came up with the I ARE through a Cartoon Network series called I AM WEASLE...in the intro, the antihero, the baboon painted a big "I R" on his shirt...
Since he painted it on when he was wearing it, the letters were upside down. I thought that was so beautifully fittingly stupid and the baboon is so beautifully ugly that I used it for this fictitious brand.
During the registration of the brand, it came out that the name UGLY PEOPLE was already taken and so I changed the I ARE UGLY into the brand name, which then became my "artist" name after the diploma.
The 12 is simply my number... I had it as a kid on my basketball jersey... Who knows when my birthday is knows why... ( ;
