I will admit in advance that I don't know Zorlac from the highlight times of Zorlac!
I got to Zorlac stickers only in the 2000s but Pushead has been a term for me before that because he created great designs for Misfits and Metallica.
But we really want to celebrate the skateboard sticker culture here and Zorlac and Pushead were an impressive dream team in this term !
Zorlac was founded in the late 70s by Jeff Newton and was a classic american garage company with total influence of the then emerging punk rock movement.
Zorlac stayed more than true to this movement and the provocative designs plus messages of the company drew a perfect image of that time. Fortunately, the contacts between Jeff, Pushead and James Hetfield plus Kirk Hammett from Metallica, who really were on the road with boards from Zorlac, came about very quickly !

As for the messages, some of you might know 'Skate Tough Or Go Home' ?!
The announcement that will probably be forever in the history of skateboarding is 'Shut Up And Skate' and the sticker that goes with it !
A great last note to master Pushead... He worked for Thrasher Magazine too and was a creative machine there !
